As a family therapist, I utilize a wholistic, solution-focused approach with an eye toward strength and skill generalization. I work with individuals, couples and families in my therapy practice. My experience and specialties are working with children, adolescents and adults. I work to support self-advocacy, symptom reduction and behavior change related to a variety of mental health, developmental, and phase of life challenges. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is essential to building a foundation of trust and respect in order to help overcome these challenges. I blend cognitive, behavioral, mindfulness, play, and family systems interventions to build upon clients’ natural strengths and to facilitate improved problem-solving abilities, increased self-confidence, and a greater overall sense of wellbeing.
